A strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen. Desire is a sense of longing or hoping for a person, object, or outcome. The same sense is expressed by emotions such as "craving". When a person desires something or someone, their sense of longing is excited by the enjoyment or the thought of the item or person, and they want to take actions to obtain their goal.

A little bit more about the artists:

Ursula Reuter Christiansen was born in Trier, Germany, and lives and works since 1969 in Denmark. There she was an active participant in the feminist movement and social critique prevalent in the 1970s, and she also invested her political commitment in her art.

Louis Fratino was born in 1993 in Annapolis, USA and lives and works in New York.

Kate Groobey was born 1979 in Leeds, UK, and works nowadays between London and Paris. She attended the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art at Oxford University, graduating in 2000 with her BFA.

KOAK (born in 1981) lives and works in San Francisco, California.

Marlene Steyn was born 1989 in Stellenbosch, South Africa and lives and works in Cape Town.

Fleur Yearsley was born 1990 in Manchester and lives and works in London, UK.
